Before her birth on 6/5/06, we knew Shannon had Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and was facing a 3 stage surgical revision of her heart and major blood vessels. Now, at 16 years old, Shannon is anticipating the need for a Heart Transplant.  Please follow along with us.  Thank God for all our blessings. Keep Shannon in your prayers.  

Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) is a congenital abnormality of the heart where there is not a functional left ventricle.  Because of this babies born with this condition need surgery in a short period of time.
