Shaelyn is out of surgery and everything went flawless. It was only about an hour long (originally could have been up to 4 hours if there were complications) and the surgeon said that everything was easy to see and get to and take out. She only had to make a few small incisions, so scarring and recovery should be fairly easy.
She is in recovery now, and will be in and out of it for the rest of the afternoon, but she should be feeling better by tomorrow.Â
