Journal entry by Suzanne Linton —
Hey all! So wanted to let everyone who may still be following Seth, that he is doing great! It has been a little over 2 weeks since he was discharged from Mayo (Rochester) Inpatient Rehab.
He certainly likes being able to be MORE comfortable at home😉. He continues to be working with Speech/Cognitive therapy 2x/week. They want to make sure he will be ready for his Senior year 🤞🏻🤞🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 August 28th!
He has been enjoying visits from family, teachers, neighbors, as well as adventuring outside (fishing, gardening, errands, spray painting, Lego building, dog walking 🐾🦮, card & Yahtzee playing)-to name a few!!
He continues to need regular periods of rest for his 🧠 - this continues to be SO important for him and his recovery.
His physical strength is returning little by little. He has some intermittent right sided weakness & still needs continued supervision with stairs, showering and certain activities.
We continue to be SO SO blessed 🙏🏻🙏🏻 and thankful he is with us and steadily improving.
As always, thanks to everyone’s care, concern, wishes and prayers for all of us on this journey with Seth ❤️❤️❤️
