Please join us for a celebration of life for Sean Riley on Friday, September 10.  We will be hosting this event in the Minneapolis area in order to allow Sean’s extended family and friends in the midwest to memorialize him without air travel. If Sean were describing this event, he would call it an “Irish Wake”, at which point his mother would remind him that he is also half Swedish.    

Sean was born on September 10, 1982 at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina.  It seems only right that we celebrate his first heavenly birthday right around the corner.  We have reserved the entire three-season patio at COV Edina, in the Galleria area.  The space is large enough to accommodate 75-100 people, so please feel free to share the invite with anyone who may want to honor Sean.  The event will be private, fully outdoors and well ventilated to minimize Covid risk, but will be covered with plenty of heat sources to ensure comfort even if the weather doesn't cooperate.  Sean's family will be hosting, with heavy appetizers and full bar from 4:30-8:30pm, so please stop by for all or part of the evening to share stories, memories, and hugs with Megan and Monroe, Robin and Denny, and the rest of Sean's family.  There will be no formal presentation, but toasts are encouraged and may increase in frequency and duration linearly with the bar tab.  (Please plan to Uber if you identify with that joke.)
