We are heading home!

Scout powered through her checklist today. She was determined to get home. She will continue to be  monitored by an amazing pulmonologist. We are going home with a new asthma action plan.  She will have several checkpoints over the next couple weeks to ensure the plan we have in place is on the right track. She is now considered a high risk asthmatic which gives us access to the pulmonologist for questions, they also work with the school nurse to ensure the staff at school can identify when she may need to activate the next level of the action plan if she is at school, and they will see her on a quarterly 

Although this was very scary, we are heading home a level of comfort due to how thoroughly everything has been explained and the sheer level of care the Children’s team provided.
