Scott is home!!!

Today was the day he has been waiting for for so long! The process took longer than we initially expected, with a few hurdles, but we trust God’s timing and are grateful for the additional progress that was made during that time.   

Scott received a wonderful send-off from the employees at GlenOaks, and we will miss them, and I know they will miss Scott! (See picture above.) We are thankful for the great care he received there!  And if Scott ever needed anything, he wasn’t shy and he would wheel out of his room and  go and search for the right person to ask! 😁 They loved that about him! 

Scott had a wonderful first day at home with some family and church friends stopping by to welcome him home! ❤️

Prayers appreciated as we transition to this next phase in his recovery.   I will be his PCA through his waiver after I complete a day of orientation, so another prayer request would be that the process for that will fall into place as it got delayed as we await the fingerprinting/background check.  We are also looking into getting additional therapies for Scott.  🙏🏻

Thank you to all who continue to support us in countless ways!!  A blessings journal has been so inspiring on those difficult days.  We couldn’t do this alone, and we are so grateful for the love, care, and prayers through this journey…❤️
