My oh my...  the power of your thoughts and prayers!  There was a reason When I was sitting alone in that hospital bed in Phoenix after hearing I’d need a liver transplant that I made the decision to go back to Albuquerque to be under the care of my doctor of 20+ years. It’s because he was always straight up and to the point with me. Needless to say after a few appts and lots of finger shaking and WTH stares he called me personally today to give me some of the best news to date. The liver enzymes have dropped under 600 (and while not anywhere close to what they should be, still a substantial drop) and the bilirubin has dropped as well, this one was being watched closely as it still was climbing even after the enzymes were dropping. I no longer am in the red zone, I’m just a yellow this being said he made the decision to pull me OFF the transplant list.  His calculations showed I no longer have a qualified MELD score to receive a liver.  I just have to deal with the damaged one I have. I CAN DEAL! I’m certain this is still a long road. There is still an internal infection and the spleen is completely wacked out from all the drugs they’ve pumped into me but all in all we have turned a huge corner! THANK YOU! ❤️ To you all!
