Scott passed away on the 15 th of October. He had had a good day in therapy. The nurses were talking about moving him up to acute rehab next week. They were helping him get from the chair to the bed and he said he didn't feel well. They got him in bed and couldn't find a pulse. They revived him and lost him .The staff at Mercy worked over an hour on him. We had time to get there. We got to say goodbye.
The hospital is not sure if it was another stroke, blood clot or something else.  We declined an autopsy. It would  It have been 
Inconclusive. 

There was a well attended viewing last night. His service is today. We are surrounded by family and friends. We want to thank everyone for their kindness and generosity. Thank you for the continuing thoughts and prayers.
