I never thought this day would come. Dad always said he would live forever… and I always assumed he would. 

Unfortunately this morning after an almost year long battle with his body after his stroke, dad decided it was time to rest. 

The love we have for him is immeasurable, and there will never be a day that he isn’t missed with every fiber of my being. 

He’s in a place of peace now, he’s not stuck in a body that won’t do what he wants to do. He’s in a land filled with Coca-Cola, and cheeseburgers. And I know he’s watching over me. 

Dad- I love you so much. Thank you for teaching me to be a loving parent and showing me the standard of love I should expect. I promise I will continue to make you proud each and every day.
