Well hello again! Where do I begin? All I know is I must be the luckiest man on earth! I don’t think that my procedure could’ve gone any better last Thursday. Everything went so smooth that I am checked out of the hospital as of noon today 😁 now don’t get me wrong I’m definitely in some pain and have a lot of healing to do yet. The fact that I set a record and made it out in just over five days after open heart surgery has got to be a miracle! Thank you to everybody for all of the amazing messages and prayers sent my way over the past eight months throughout all of this but especially during the last week! I can promise you this, I don’t plan on wasting a moment of this second chance at life! Thank you to everyone again, especially the entire staff at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. The cardiac and VAD teams are nothing short of a miracle workers! THANK YOU!
