Journal entry by Annie Egan

Hi all,
Sara Meadows had her follow up appointment yesterday where they confirmed that the tumor was a glioblastoma. She will begin 6 weeks of radiation + chemotherapy as soon as she is able and will continue rounds of treatment and routine scans. We’re staying focused on the treatment plan ahead and she’s not fond of thinking in terms of ‘miracles’ or ‘survivors’ or anything of the like — more dedicated to managing the inevitable ups and downs over this next stretch. We are all so grateful for the village of support and care;  she certainly feels the love.
