Thanksgiving Blessings Everyone -

I wanted to update everyone on how my journey was going. I haven't posted in awhile so I figured it was time to journal again. Here is what has happened so thus far.

We had a CT scan and Oncologist appointment on September 20th. The Nodule that they had found had shrunk just about a few millimeters. At that time my Oncologist was slightly still unsure of what this nodule was. He was a little apprehensive about confirming the nodule as non-cancerous. My Oncologist felt that it could have still been cancer and my body was trying to fight the abnormality, which our bodies are designed to do. We left the appointment feeling nervous, anxious, and a bit excited knowing that the nodule had shrunk. We were told to re scan in 8 weeks.

I had a CT scan today (November 26) and a follow-up appointment with my Oncologist. Well the nodule showed that it shrank by 3cm. It was at 1.0cm and now is down to .7cm. That was so exciting to hear. The Oncologist was really excited about this news, as well. We are sure that this is most likely just scar/fatty tissue from the surgeries that I have had in the pelvic region. We get to re scan in 3 months! I told my Oncologist that I feel GREAT, Pain-Free, lots of Energy, and being Optimistic! I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas present, now I turly understand this time of year. (Christmas time is magical & Miracle of Christmas).

2019 has been a year of exciting New experiences from new careers, a new addition to the Litwiller family (Baby Penelope Sarah, my niece), and positive test results. We can't help but think at this time of year that we need to count our blessings and be thankful for family, friends & life experiences. When you go through these life experiences it makes you appreciate the little things, that you possibly once took for granted. It makes us appreciate more quickly, love more openly and live more passionately and you see the Good in people and life obstacles.

I can't thank everyone enough for all the PRAYERS, THINKING OF YOU'S, WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT. The thoughtfulness of family, friends, acquaintances, and those that I don't know have been so appreciative. I can not express how blessed and thankful I am for each and everyone of you. I couldn't have gone through this journey without your support. You helped me stay strong through this journey.

Cancer has made me slow down and realize the important things in life and taught me not to sweat the small stuff.

"The only way God can show us He's in control is to put us in situations, we can't control."

God Bless Each and Everyone of you! I hope you have a GREAT Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
