Sarah’s Story

Site created on June 15, 2021

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.
As many of you know, Sarah contracted Covid-19. As she also has MS, this is very serious since her body is too weak to fight it, and it hit her very hard. She was brought in to the ER, then taken by ambulance to Abbott Northwestern, where they have a team of doctors who specialize in MS. They would not let her husband Brandon in with her, and are allowing no visitors due to Covid rules. They got her stable, & moved her to the most intensive care unit, so they are carefully watching her and her needs. She is on high flow nasal heated oxygen, & as of now they say she will be there for at least 10-15 days.
Prayers for Sarah, Brandon, and their 3 girls are greatly appreciated, as it sounds like this is going to be a long journey. Any donations, gifts, cards, flowers, or words of encouragement are welcome, anything to put a smile on her face & let her know she’s not alone. There are links on this site to her meal train and gofundme pages for anyone wanting to help.
