Hard to believe the difference a year can make. Since coming home mom has had a few bumps, but nothing too major. She started at home dialysis in September, which was a learning curve, to say the least. The goal right now is to meet all the doctor's requirements to have a successful kidney transplant in the near future. Knock on wood mom's lungs have done nothing but improve since coming off the ventilator. We still have a long road ahead of us, but with the power of prayer, our family, and friends we will make it through whatever may come next.
