Journal entry by Lisa Siegel —
I spoke with my mom today. She's back in her apartment and doing really well. She promises not to over do it and wear herself out. She's very happy to be at Village Shalom where she doesn't have to go outside for anything. She's had one round of chemo and other than a little panic over what she was feeling as a side effect, she's feeling good. The doctor feels they caught it early. She goes for another treatment on November 11th.
She also expressed how very blessed she is feeling from all the calls, well-wishes, and prayers. The family has come together closer than ever. She is grateful and thankful for everything that everyone is doing. She is slowly trying to catch up, but is following orders to watch her fatigue level. We are going to try and make sure she sticks to that.
Thank you to everyone for all your efforts and concern. Our family really is truly blessed.
