Sam’s Story

Site created on February 27, 2022

As many of you know Andrew and I made the decision to move in with my Dad almost a year ago to help him. We have LOVED getting to spend more time with him! Addie calls him the Cookie Monster on many occasions and Art enjoys having late night conversations with “GDaddy” over chocolate ice cream.

Life began to change mid January and GDaddy began declining fast and he couldn’t get up one day. Finally last week we received news we never expected, an extremely rare variant of ALS. So rare the specialist is sending him to another specialist and we are all living in the unknown right now. So many of you have reached out with love and support that Emily and I decided to start a page to make sure we can keep everyone updated.

GDaddy loves cards, treats, and joking around of course. While the future is unknown and limited in time we will shower GDaddy with as much love and fun as possible.
