It has been a very busy first week of spring break. Many doctor's appointments so far. 🎉🎉
But I did not want to forget to post Sammy's latest news!!
Tuesday of this week Sammy had a follow up with her NP Kate (Who we love!)And her Dietitian Melissa (Love her too!)
Sammy did gain 4 more pounds!!
🎉🎉 Awesome news🎉🎉
With her no longer having her port she did have to get her monthly antibiotic treatment through a nebulizer. She very much hated it. 😫 She would not let me take a photo.
But because she is doing so great her Oncologist decided that it would be her last antibiotic treatment!!!! We thought she would need 2 more. Needless to say Sammy was ecstatic!!😁😁
Plus because she gained those 4 pounds and she is eating well. Melissa dropped her NG feedings to just 4 hours a day!! OMG 🙌🏻🙌🏻
God is so Good!!!🙏🏻🙏🏻
Sammy does have a follow up MRI of her brain and spine on March 28th. Prayers that everything is still clear!!
The last eleven months have been by far some of the worst months of our lives. However I can also say some of them have been the most amazingly beautiful days as well.
From our family to friends, church family to neighbors, co-workers to complete strangers. It truly does take a while village. And I can say we have the most amazing one!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
💥💥Oh I almost forgot, Sammy threw her Radiation mask in the burn barrel too!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 She said burn baby burn!!
