Today I had two infusion buddies, Jason and my mom, who came with me through the whole process! The morning started with lab work and then an appointment with one of the NPs on my oncology team. She answered our questions and talked through the infusion process. After that it was over to the infusion center to get drugged up! I’m on a combo of two immunotherapy drugs, so it’s two 30-minute infusions. Once we got going it went by quickly. We passed the time chatting and coloring! So far I’m feeling really good! A little tired but no other side effects! 

I just want to thank everyone for the continued support. The well wishes, cards, texts, emails and care packages have made me feel so loved. I did get my next three infusions scheduled out, so I have updated the meal train and added a sign up for anyone that would like to come be my infusion buddy!
