Sallee’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
In April, 2021, Sallee developed a backache in her lower back. After numerous tests and imagining, Sallee was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer throughout her body.  She has chosen to not pursue chemotherapy, rather beginning immunotherapy on May 25th, in hopes of slowing down this disease. Sallee is in good spirits, allowing her faith to guide her and our family on this journey.

Sallee lost her battle last night.  Her faith has guided her home. She blessed everyone she met with her genuine caring personality and her love of people. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 22nd at 11am at Resurrection United Methodist Church in Hastings.  A visitation will precede at 10am.
