Newest Update

Journal entry by Shawn Johnson

The days have been a blur and I can’t believe how long it’s been since we’ve chatted, but I wanted to update you all on how Sabrina is doing.

All things considered, she’s doing very well! That’s not to say this is not been a tough journey and that there haven’t been some very tough days.
Monday when she and I went for her to get chemo, her white blood cell count was once again too low to receive the treatment. You can only imagine how that must have dampened her spirits. Her doctor decided to change her treatments from three weeks in a row on Mondays to every other Monday. so she’s due back on Monday for chemo!

Her pain comes and goes, ebbs and flows and keeps her exhausted.  we took a nice long ride to visit Regina and Lisa and enjoyed a little dinner before heading back to rock Hill. All was well by the end of the evening however, because The Steelers pulled it off by the skin of their teeth after giving us all heart palpitations!!!

As Sabrina always says this is a marathon not a sprint… Please continue to keep  her in your thoughts and prayers.  EVERY SINGLE one of them matters and is greatly appreciated 🙏🏽❤️
Until next time, Shawn
