Journal entry by Steph Norland

Happy Summer!
We just had scans done again on Friday and everything looks good. No added growth to the nerve which is great news! Ryan has started OT (occupational therapy) along with his weekly PT (physical therapy) and also is back to weekly swim lessons. Other than keeping us busy with all of that he also keeps us busy by demanding we play superheroes 24/7. He’s gotten very good at stalling and negotiating for bedtime. 🙄 Other than that we are just enjoying our summer in the most simple “boring” ways possible. Meaning, just hanging outside and playing with the friends. 🍦🛝🌈

All that being said. Our lives are finally getting back to normal. Ryan is getting back to normal. In fact he will need his second hair cut soon!

One thing I would ask, though, is that we try to avoid commenting too much on his progress. We know it's great and we're so grateful, but hearing about it all the time can get a little bit overwhelming for us and Ryan. Thanks for understanding and supporting us! Chat again in a few months!
