Journal entry by Alyssa Martin

We are running out of months before we start saying Ryann’s age in years...and I’m in denial. She’ll be 120 months, not ten years old. Nope. She’s not growing up that fast. I refuse to believe it.

In the last month Ryann has just blossomed into a little chatterbox. She has 10-15 words and then a language Momma understands on top of that, although we’ve only heard her say ‘momma’ once or twice. She is a great helper when it comes to cleaning up her toys before bed. A puzzle genius if we do so say ourselves. We have some bets going that she’ll be 20 pounds (finally!) at her doctors appointment next week. Ryann LOVES to go down the slide at the park and she hates the swings this year. Throwing toys for Bud to chase is her favorite activity and always gets her giggling. Even on the days Momma loses her patience (6 months of cold and flu isolation is HARD with a toddler) Ryann still manages to make me smile and gives the best hugs. She’s a love bug and it’s amazing watching her grow.

Speaking of...on April 18th we will again be taking part in the March of Dimes March for Babies to help fundraiser for premature birth and healthy pregnancy research. If you feel led to make a donation to the cause you can do so at this link:

And without further ado...the pictures.
