Welcome to our CaringBridge website.  Thank you for your prayers for Ruth and her family as she navigates life with Glioblastoma!

Newest Update

Journal entry by Amanda Brintnall

It's been so long since we have sent an update, and mostly that's because things have remained the same for Ruth for a lot of months.  Things had been very quiet and in true Brintnall fashion, we just continued on the road of caregiving.

However, as the year anniversary of Ruth's diagnosis approaches, we have begun a new chapter in her care.  This month began with Ruth receiving care from Gilchrist (a wonderful hospice program).  This change will enable Ruth to be cared for at home with her family surrounding her, giving her the support to live each day God gives her to the fullest.

With this change comes the need for increased home nursing care.  Up until this point, our wonderful friends have stepped in and helped and filled in gaps as we scrambled in this new phase.   Now, we have hired people to medically care for Ruth to give us the ability to love Ruth as her family in these precious days.  Our wonderful friends have updated the GoFundMe page and the MealTrain to reflect our current needs.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to any who have donated and/or have provided meals!  It has been so helpful!  Words will never express how much we appreciate all of you as you have looked to ease our burden.  Through you, God continues to meet us in our deepest need and we are thankful to Him (and you) for all that you continue to do!  If there is something more specific you want to help with or have a question about, please email:   lovingthebrintnalls@gmail.com

We are so thankful for all of you that have reached out and continue to keep the family in prayer.  Specifically we are praying that God sustain us as we navigate this next stage.  We ask for prayers that God gives the family the peace that surpasses all human understanding, and that He sustain the Brintnall's as they trust him in this time.

Grateful for you all!
