From Lynn (1/12/2023 AM):
I'm working on Mike’s obituary, but it's the hardest thing I've ever done.  Service information is above, though the words to honor Micheal are still missing.  Newcomers will update this by tomorrow with the words I finally find for the greatest man I've ever loved.

We are all not ok. Mackenzie is being super strong and trying to keep things exactly the same.  I'm - I don't even know.  Scared.  Sad.  Broken.  Mike's parents, sister and our niece are the same.  I'm not sure how we do this life without him, but we will try in order to honor him.  Mike was so important to so many people...the fact that you are all mourning with us gives us an odd sense of comfort.

I'm still unable to comment on much, and can't keep up with texts and emails, but your words are treasures. I don't know what we need, yet, but I will let everyone know when I figure that out.  All I do know, definitively, is that Mike wouldn't want flowers at his service.  He would rather see Mackenzie's future secured in a way that doesn't require her to have to set aside any dreams or goals.  He loved her completely, and dedicated his life to being her biggest fan and greatest support.  When I figure out how we do that for Mike to continue to take care of Mackenzie, even in death, I will share.

Thank you for loving Mike for exactly who he was.
