Rose’s Story

Site created on March 10, 2018

All updates and communication regarding Rose will be done through this Caring Bridge website. Thank you for visiting!

Rose was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer on March 1, 2018 which had metastasized to the liver and adrenal glands. She had a colon resection which removed the primary tumor in April and recovered completely from that surgery. The tumor in the liver was and is inoperable even after many rounds of chemo.

At this time, February, 2019 she has been placed into hospice care to manage the pain. No further treatment is being done at this time. She is not bedridden and is able to care for herself, but staying on top of the pain is her daily goal.

Anyone that knows Rose also knows of her deep faith in Jesus Christ. Through this trial she has grown ever closer to Him as she walks out her faith in trust and hope in Him. She has every expectation of healing and recovery because His word says that we can ask for that!

She is extremely deeply grateful for every person that is praying for her and we ask that you don’t stop now! Do not give up on her and do not give up on God because He is Good and Compassionate and is fully able to do more than we can even ask or think!

Rose would love to hear from you so please take a few minutes to say hi and show her your love and support. Thank you!
