Psalms 27:13 I am confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Greetings friends and prayer warriors. We have felt His arms around us as we have helped mom through these last several months . After many rounds of chemo , each round involving 5-6 days in the hospital , mom and Mike headed back this week for what they thought would be another 5 day round, only to be given the good news that moms last MRI shows significant reduction of the tumor...to the point that the oncologist used the term 'in remission.'  As you can imagine this helps her to feel there's forward progress! (Not to mention the relief at NOT having to pick from the hospital menu for another meal ..after you've had everything at least several times the offerings are hard to get excited about:) We will know more details in the coming days about how this new phase of treatment will look but we're hopeful and excited for her to have made it to this point, with such obvious physical change being brought about for the better. We covet your prayers for moms continued recovery and work that's ahead in her outpatient treatment (which will last for the next year or so) as well as the work of recovering from some cognitive deficits. Of course all is in His hands.  We are humbled and strengthened at the community of friends and family that have held us up during this time. Thank you so much for love, friendship and prayers!
