Ron arrived home from the hospital after having an infection called "Tracheitis", which is a bacterial infection of the windpipe (trachea). He was in the hospital 3-days and they checked Ron for COVID, pneumonia, etc... the good news he has no additional issues. YAY! Ron still has a trache but is breathing on his own. The pulmonary doctor wants Ron to have the trache as a precaution should he get pneumonia. We have an appointment with this doc in two weeks , so we’ll see where we go with this. We’d love to see the trache removed.
