Ron’s Story

Site created on November 8, 2019

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
In late October, Ron was experiencing some difficulty breathing due to fluid accumulating outside of his lungs. He got some relief after draining this fluid. However, doctors found cancer cells in this fluid along with other masses in his chest and abdomen.
Last week, Ron was admitted to the hospital for blood clots in his lungs. While in the hospital his diagnosis was confirmed as Renal Cell Carcinoma, an aggressive form of kidney cancer.
After 4 days in ICU, Ron has been moved to another area of the hospital. Doctors continue to work to treat the blood clots while keeping his breathing stabilized.
The family is overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support. Ron is resting comfortably. We ask for your continued prayers. At this time we are asking for no visitation.
