Journal entry by Mary Pina

Good evening! Praise God for the rain! I hope everyone survived that storm we had over the weekend. We desperately needed the rain, but wow that wind was something! I wanted to catch you up on last week's appointments. We saw the pulmonologist on Monday and went over the results of the pulmonary function test that was done in May. The way I'm understanding it is they are satisfied with the amount of air he intakes and exhales, but what his body does with that air is not what they like to see. They put him on an inhaler to open his airways. We really like this doctor. He is going to try to keep Ron with his own lungs hopefully for his entire long life, but is already thinking of next steps should they need to be considered. We'll see him again in September. We received a call today about the CT scan that was done last Thursday. The lungs looked better as far as the pneumonia clearing up! They recommend continuing monitoring. We are very thankful for this report. Thank you Lord for your goodness! Please continue to pray for good reports. Thank you all. God bless ❤️
