An update:

Ron met with radiation oncology this week.  The plan is to do 5 weeks of twice daily radiation on the NET, starting mid November.  

Because the tumor is located in the previous radiation field (from the earlier colon cancer diagnosis/treatment), the radiation “dose” needs to be lower/more frequent to protect the surrounding tissues…why he has to go twice a day.  

To our understanding, immunotherapy will start after radiation.

Specific prayer requests:
- that radiation treatments are effective in killing any remaining cancer cells
- that radiation doesn’t cause harm to healthy tissues and structures
- that the radiation schedule can start sooner than later.
- that Ron can balance work and the treatment schedule.
- there are a couple of lymph nodes in Ron’s abdomenthat are being “watched.”  Praying the Lord causes those nodes to decrease in size and show no concern for cancer.
- that the Lord continues to heal Ron fully!

Good news…. Ron had a brain MRI last month, and it showed no evidence of cancer!
