Dad went home a week ago and is doing so well.  🤗 It's all about pain management and staying healthy now.  He has a very intense and strict pill regiment he has to follow every day and many doctor appointments to attend.  Sleeping is still difficult but hopefully the new bed being delivered tomorrow will help alleviate that. The doctors have advised him that anyone he comes into contact with in his home or if he chooses to visit others will need to have the flu vaccine. He is immunosuppressed and is not just being over cautious. Others being vaccinated against the flu can save his life!! The anti-rejection meds he will be on for the rest of his life so that these lungs continue to work will put him in the at risk category for any illnesses going forward. Please keep this in mind if you would like to visit with him.  Your visit can wait if you have a cough or the sniffles!!  Call him instead.  I know he would love to hear from you!!
