Sorry for the lack of updates.  We still had a little elevation in the CA19 numbers, but they are back on a downward trend.  The numbers on Tuesday were 2378, which is down 800 from two weeks ago.  Not bad considering almost exactly one year ago the CA19 was more than 300,000!   

As you know, back in summer Rick was doing so well Dr AJ decided to take him off one chemical and give him a little "holiday" from treatment.  It didn't work out so well and the CA19 started to head upward.  So it was back to the old regime for the future or at least the next ten weeks or so.  Great news is the PEtscan shows tumors on the liver are still getting smaller.  

Rick and Janet have been doing lots of travel.  Rick got to see his 49'ers on Monday with an old college buddy.  I won't comment further.  The four of us are headed on a Caribbean cruise over New Year's Eve.  They are headed to Hawaii in the Spring.  Of course you know, they have a new grandson with another grandchild due in May.  Life is Good!
