Today was the day!!! The day Rod received the gift of a new kidney from an amazing, but anonymous, human being!!  The kidney traveled from somewhere on the east coast and arrived at UW Hospital around 4pm today. Got word from the  surgeon around 8pm tonight that surgery was successful!! Rod and his new kidney are working together well so far! While we know the journey will continue to have some challenges, so happy we got to today and today went well!   We know we would not be at this point without the prayers, positive thoughts and love sent our way through all of this❤️❤️!  Thank you!!
