I apologize for not posting more often!!

I can’t believe it’s been six months already!!!

Since my last post a lot has happened. I was released to go back into the office full time around Thanksgiving. Previously I was working remotely. 

We were able to celebrate my birthday in November along with Thanksgiving with family in our home which was a great blessing. 

We received a great birthday present a day after my birthday. We received a letter from the donor family. The letter was difficult to read since my donor was a vibrant young woman who had her whole life ahead of her. She happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. 

I had planned on writing the family a letter before I received there’s but wasn’t sure what the appropriate amount of time would be in such a special situation. I was able to write a letter back and we are awaiting a response from the family. 

December flew by with the holidays and getting back into the swing of things at work after being away for several months. 

Currently I’m down to monthly visits to the hospital which before was every 2-3 weeks along with other appointments. The Doctors are very happy with my progress. I’ve been able to start working out again which has been a great blessing. We purchased some home gym equipment which super nice not having to go to a gym. 

Please pray specifically for the donor family as they have endured a difficult time in the past six months. I can’t imagine losing a child and heading straight into the holidays and all of the family functions while trying to grieve the loss of your child. 

Thank you to all of you who have reached out and encouraged us these past six months.
