We flew to Oahu yesterday and saw Robins main oncologist and he told us that Robin is now in remission from her epithelial ovarian cancer. He also said that 80% of the people with her type of cancer have recurrences within two years but he also felt he did good with her surgeries etc and is optimistic she may fair better. We sure hope so and Rob is in great spirits.

Meanwhile Robin has a ten day backpack trip in less that two weeks to glacier Nation park planned and has been walking most days to get into shape for it. The deleterious effects of her 24 weeks of chemo are starting to leave her and her hair grew back for the last three months though snowy white and the oncology department has been surprised at that. I am getting Robin's bike out of the garage loft today and she plans to start back on that. Due to the WBC count being really low from chemo Robin has had to avoid most social contact but now is looking forward to rejoining society and has missed seeing a lot of you.

I will update this site if anything majorly changes and Robin will be getting tests every three months but if you do not see new post that means tests came out OK.
