Robin’s Story

Site created on January 26, 2024

On January 22, over a week after she lost the use of the left side of her body and after several unsuccessful attempts to receive proper medical attention to address her very concerning symptoms, I took mom to the Emergency Room here in Winston-Salem. We went into the ER hoping she had not suffered a stroke. We left with news that we never could have prepared for. Cancer. In a matter of 2 hours, our lives completely changed.

As we have begun to navigate this ever-changing path, so many of you have reached out to ask about Mom and to share your concern. In order to make sure that we are able to share information about Mom's journey with everyone who has been praying for her, thinking of her, and supporting her, we have decided to create this website. We will be using it to keep everyone updated in one place. I will update with news and updates as they come. In the meantime, we appreciate your continued support, prayers, and words of encouragement.
