Robert (Bobby)’s Story
Site created on February 23, 2021
Welcome to Robert Grahams page. Some know him as Bobby... I (Jennifer) decided this would be a good place to keep everyone updated on his health battle with lung cancer. Robert was diagnosed in Spring of 2019 when he was to under go a hip replacement. Thankfully they were able to do the hip replacement. And a few short months later we moved to Vermont. Robert's health has been on a roller coaster for the past 13 years. He has seen the inside of a hospital more than most. Robert has been on deaths door step a few times to many, BUT God's not done with him yet! He has Chrons disease ontop of everything else has made this a bigger issue. Robert loves Jesus and is an amazingly hard worker, loving father to 5 kiddos 3 grandchild and my best friend and husband. He loves to laugh and make people laugh! He is a goofball that loves nature , music, animals, building stuff and new adventures. He's a fighter and despite his 1 year journey of denial has finally excepted this and is pushing hard to get better.
update:2/2024 we are now in Delaware after Robert going on permanent disability from a seizure that ended his ability to work (even with cancer) his drivers license has been revoked and were working on finding the right medication to keep them at bay. Roberts oldest son lives here in DE, so we get to try to spend more time getting to know him and his daughter and fiancee.
Robert now also has prostate cancer as well.
We are treating with out chemo at this time. Roberts wishes.... their are other things besides that. Please be respectful of this. Thank you!
Robert had a Dr appointment today for his new lumps. His lympnodes in his neck have been swollen. Now his throat is swollen. They are doing biopsies tomorrow. Unfortunately they think it is cancer that has spread. We're trying to stay positive it's all in God's hands.
