I just wanted to share one last CaringBridge post to say thank you for taking this journey with us. Robert's service was a beautiful celebration of his life. As I stood in the sanctuary prior to the visitation, I glanced out the window and saw lines of people waiting to come in to show their love and support, and to grieve with us - it was truly a remarkable tribute to Robert and his life. 

To the Padilla family - thank you for "bombarding" our house. You filled these walls with love and laughter and maybe a bit too much alcohol...🤷‍♀️...RJ and I needed you and you were there - you always have been and I know you always will be. That is the forever gift Robert gave us.

To my besties, Kelli, Lynn, and Julie - you are incredible women. There aren't even words, but you showed me the face of God here on earth. 

I have so much gratitude for the people that have surrounded us with love and I don't want to forget anyone, so I'll stop there, but if you're reading this know you have a special place in our hearts.

I really believe in God's purpose for us. We are put in a certain place at a certain time because we are part of a bigger plan. God knew RJ and I would need all of you to get through this hurt. We all prayed for Robert's healing, and instead He answered those prayers with a different gift - you. 

God is good. He's got Robert is His loving arms and He's got us too - all of us.
