Bob and I had a good day today.  I took him for a drive to see the Kootenai River just 2 minutes from here.  I wheeled him around in his wheelchair in a little riverfront park, and then sat in the sun for a few minutes.  He loved getting out; this was the first time he's "seeing Montana" other than being in the hospital.

He is still very fragile, but in good spirits.  Except when he's cranky ---- he yelled at me for asking him to turn the TV down yesterday.  He enjoys picking on and abusing the nurses, and was rather rude with the Occupational Therapy lady here today.   ((I tell them not to take it personally ---- he's an equal opportunity abuser!))    He is often impatient and frustrated, as he's very bright, and he sees things and makes connections more quickly than others do ---- sometimes.

We're talking with the hospital staff about moving him to another rehab facility in Kalispell, which is a larger city and which has oncology specialists on staff.
