Journal

Hello everyone. In the -seemingly implausible- case that you have not yet learned, our beloved Robby passed peacefully in his sleep, early in the morning of Sunday, February 18th.

He continues to be bid a bonafide rockstar farewell, full of heartfelt tributes and surging with the memories and music of his family and friends. If you do not engage in social media, maybe have a look at someone else’s so that you may read all of the beautiful stories his friends from near and far, old and new, have written in his honor.

Robby truly did light up every room, never knew a stranger and lived to lift us higher. I know I am not alone when relishing in the great fortune to have walked with such an essence of selfless love, kindness and generosity. Even in his last wakeful moments, his primary concern was that WE were all OK.

Robby was touched and humbled by the constant stream of love and support encircling him throughout these years. It made a difference, sincerely.

Robby has a lovely place at the Lexington Cemetery by the big pond, a favorite of his cherished walks. I will update here as spring approaches so that you can pay him a visit.

I’ll close in true Robby fashion with two hallowed verses he frequently wrote on whatever was in front of him (napkins, daybooks, newspaper) over the years.

Yes to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free
silhouetted by the sea
circled by the circus sands
with all memory and fate
driven deep beneath the waves
let me forget about today until tomorrow

-Bob Dylan

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails.

- 1 Corinthians 13:7
