Journal
Dear Ones,
If I were to leave a one-word message, it would be this beautiful word:
REMISSION!!!!!
Obviously key and we are delighted, awed, inspired.
But, I am not a single-word kind of person, so I need to thank each of you. So many who showed caring and love in many, many ways. Cards, calls, food, acupuncture, custard deliveries, accompaniment, walks, visits, gifts, donations, and just concern and love. Thank you each and all. I am deeply touched.
I was beyond lucky to be able to get through these six months of treatment with much less discomfort than I had feared. Being immunocompromised during a pandemic was not fun, but I was able to take long walks most days, often with friends beside me or on the phone.
About 2 months ago I broke a tooth while eating wonton soup. Ugh! It took 6 weeks to finally get the wiggly temporary crown replaced with a permanent one. I was so delighted I wore my tiara my whole coronation day last week. Thus, this photo.
Love to all!
