On May 3, 2018 at 3:42 am I received a Bone Marrow Transplant which saved my life. Today, I’m still in remission and currently very healthy. My annual Long Term Follow-up Exam is scheduled for June 7, 2022.

My heart continues to overflow with thanksgiving. 

I thank God for saving me, for giving me more time on Earth and for showering me with His blessings. I also thank Him for preparing a place for me to be with Him forever when my life on earth is over.

I thank Rachel for caring for me, for standing by me, and for surrounding me with her love.

I thank Amanda for the wonderful playlist that sustained me, blessed me, and comforted me through chemo, fevers, transfusions, and transplant, and continues to bless me today.

I thank my wonderful family for showing me how much you love me and appreciate me. You are precious to me.

I thank Miranda, my beloved donor, for her bravery and sacrifice.

I thank our Timberlake Church Community Group for your love, support and fellowship.

I thank Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and UW Medical Center - all of the doctors, nurses, and technicians who have cared for me for the last 4 1/2 years. You are awesome.

 I thank my colleagues in the Attorney General’s Office for your support and prayers and for donating your excess annual leave so I could be paid during my absence from the AG’s Office. Your generosity amazed me.

And finally, I thank everyone who has prayed for me in this journey. God heard your prayers and performed a miracle. I love you all.
