Hurray! He's safely home--in time for a nice lunch, a good nap, and a delicious sea bass dinner. Rick is doing really well. Rick hasn't had any pain meds since morning and then only extra strength Tylenol. We are so happy and grateful, but taking it VERY easy for the next few weeks.
Hopefully this will be the last update. I will leave it open in case we have any issues for prayer in recovery, but the bottom line is we are praising the Lord. Rick and I are so humbled and see this "reprieve" as an opportunity to dedicate our lives afresh to sharing the love of Christ, working to spread the glorious news of the Gospel and bringing glory to God.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and prayers. Your care and concern has truly helped to carry us through this difficult time. We love you all.
We are trusting God in new and more profound ways as we process the "breath" that is our life on earth. A glorious eternity of fullness of life awaits. May God be pleased to bring all that we love into an eternity of joy forevermore.
