Journal entry by Jered Stetter —
Update:
Dad is doing great! He had his nurse visit today and was told everything was coming along well. He will begin home therapy this week and has a couple of Doc appts. He is getting out to see his cows and walk around in the yard a bit here and there.
The schedule for those helping has changed slightly... See below...
Norma is on-call on weekends if needed and handling all medications with dads docs...
Jami and Norma are both talking with dads family doctor...
Jesi is handling all Insurance and Billing issues...
I am handling scheduling of care...
Sat 30 May: Keith/Karla
Sun 31 May: Mary
Mon 1 June: Rosie
Tues 2 June: Jered
Weds 3 June: Jered
Thurs 4 June: Jered
Fri 5 June: Jered
Sat 6 June: Jami
Sun 7 June: Jami
Mon 8 June: Rosie
One note for those assisting... Dad needs his blood pressure checked periodically... Please ensure that he has sat down and rested for 15 min or so, uncrosses his legs, stops talking and sits still while taking BP. His new BP cuff is very sensitive and his BP does raise with very little movement.
