Journal entry by Angie Gault —
Yesterday, Dad's bone marrow biopsy showed great results. The chemo has done its job and the cancer is knocked back down! Hallelujah, God is good!
Now, he is released to a maintenance schedule of watching for symptoms and getting quarterly blood checks. We pray he is able to stay on this maintenance schedule for a long, long time.
Dad is looking and feeling good. He really looks forward to getting back to doing the things he enjoys. He sadly missed most of the regular fishing season, so he's hoping for ice soon. 🎣🥶 For him and all he'sbeen through, I'll wish that, too.
With that, we'll be stepping away from posting on CaringBridge. Thank you is not enough to show our gratitude and appreciation for the care and support provided by the Gundersen medical staff over the past 11 months. They were/are amazing! And another big thank you to all of you for your continued love and support through Dad's journey -- you are all his Support Squad. 💚
