Last day of radiation!
Today my mom finished her last round of radiation! Five rounds, for five days! She is no longer taking pain medication, nerve medication, or Tylenol for her back pain! She has less pain in her back and her radiation doctor was happy! We asked what we do if the back pain happens again and the doctor said radiation lasts a long time but if it does start hurting again we will do more radiation. 
Hope: Never give up hope. When we walked into the Cancer Center my mom could barely walk due to the back pain she was experiencing. Today I let her drive herself to her appointment but I did call to make sure she made it there. Haha 
She is up and moving which makes us all happy. She is still experiencing some fatigue but that is normal. Tomorrow we go for another round of chemo. Next week she will take a break from chemo and get some fluids for hydration. Then another round of chemo. 
I can not thank everyone enough for everything. 
So many people have offered to help and have helped. We appreciate it.
