We got great news today! Rhett’s scan showed a small 4mm area that they are watching. They assured us that this area was nothing to be concerned about and that it could even just be part of the healing tissue from the surgery. They are going to continue to watch it during his quarterly scans! So no need for any additional treatments, still “watch and wait”! This was what we prayed for and why we are coming home so totally relieved! 

We got to meet with, question and congratulate Rhett’s Neuro Oncologist, Dr. Peters, and she was just so excited to share about the trial! She said it is quickly moving toward FDA for consideration and we should know more about the approval process in June when we go back! 

Earlier this morning Rhett had his 2 hour cognitive test. He should get the results back from that in a couple weeks! He is totally exhausted from this brain work-out and information overload!
