Renni’s Story

Site created on June 3, 2018

Late Tuesday night May 22, Renni was driving home from work when she thought she fell asleep at the wheel, causing an accident. After being rushed to the hospital, scans showed seizure activity within her brain. An MRI revealed a tumor between her brain and skull, called a meningioma. The doctors are confident the tumor is benign but Renni will need to undergo surgery soon to have the tumor removed as she has now become symptomatic. In addition to the emotional, mental, and physical taxation of this sudden news, Renni and her 4 children, Justin, Austin, Dustin and Alexis are now preparing for the financial burden that the surgery, recovery, and time off work will bring.Renni is one of the most caring and selfless individuals we know. She is a dedicated mother to her children and longtime employee of over 25 years at Bobby Q’s in Phoenix as a Catering/Floor Manager. She is known to go above and beyond for everyone- never expecting anything in return. Let’s show her how much we all appreciate everything she’s done for us over the years. Her recovery time will be extensive, and medical bills are already becoming overwhelming. We are asking for your help to ease her burden, and to show her that even though this journey has only just begun, she will always have our support.

Yesterday Renni got the results of her first MRI! The Dr. was pleased it had not gotten smaller but it didn’t get bigger either! She is now at 6 month for the next Check!
