Good morning to friends and family of Nicholas!

From Christyn this morning: Nicholas is spiking a fever. He went from normal to 102.8 in a couple of hours with very elevated white cell count. They are packing him in ice and giving meds. The shunt is draining more fluid which helps relieve pressure in his head. Nicholas is already on IV antibiotics postop, so they are going to obtain blood cultures to try to pinpoint the specific bacteria.
