Journal entry by Reba Barfield —
Hi Friends. Haven't posted in a while because my arms get tired when I type. I got the pathology report back and it could have been better. I will have to have more treatment of some kind because of the lymph nodes. Not sure what or when but like Ms. Scarlette, I'll think about that tomorrow. Today I think about how blessed I am. Friends have visited, brought food, done things that I cant do-like heated stuff in the microwave that I can no longer reach, or vacuumed the cat hair up-at least for a while-and left me laughing like a high schooler at the homecoming parade. That is some kind of laughter, in case you don't understand. All I can say for now is, that while I am disappointed that I no longer need a bra for "support," I've got friends who are providing another kind of support that I really need. There was a song years ago that contained the prayer, "Just to be His hand extended reaching out to those oppressed...." So thankful that Jesus has sent a lot of hands my way. Thanks to you all.
